5.1 How AI Tools Process Your Data

5.2 Do We Use Your Content to Train AI Models?

No, we do NOT use your specific project files, uploaded documents, or confidential content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.

We respect the confidentiality of your professional work. Your project data remains private to your account and is used only to provide you with AI-assisted outputs.

We may use aggregated, anonymized usage metrics (such as which features are most used, average processing times, error rates) to improve service performance, but this data cannot be traced back to you or your specific projects.

We treat all uploaded project data as confidential by default and apply the same security protections regardless of document type or sensitivity level.

6A.2 Multi-Party Project Data

Construction projects typically involve multiple parties (clients, contractors, subcontractors, consultants). If you upload documents that contain information belonging to or originating from third parties, you are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process that data through our Services. We will treat all such data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

6A.3 Existing Confidentiality Obligations

We understand that construction documents are frequently subject to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and confidentiality clauses between project parties. Our platform is designed to respect these existing obligations. We will not share, disclose, or use your project data in any way that would breach the confidentiality you owe to your project counterparts. You remain responsible for ensuring that your use of our Services complies with any confidentiality obligations you have to third parties.

6A.4 BIM Models & CAD Files

BIM models, CAD files, and other large technical files uploaded to our platform are processed and stored with the same security and confidentiality protections as all other user content. These files are used solely to provide you with the requested AI-assisted outputs and are not shared with other users or used for any purpose beyond delivering the Services to you.

7.1 How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Specific retention periods:

• Account Information: Retained while your account is active, plus 90 days after account deletion
• Project Files & User Content: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account termination (unless you request earlier deletion)
• AI Processing Logs: Retained for 90 days for debugging and service improvement
• Payment Records: Retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
• Support Communications: Retained for 3 years
• Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely

7.2 Construction Document Retention

Please note that our retention periods above reflect how long we retain data on our platform. Construction projects may be subject to longer statutory retention requirements (for example, limitation periods for construction contracts can extend to 6 or 12 years depending on jurisdiction and contract type). You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of project documents in accordance with applicable retention requirements. We recommend exporting any documents you may need before closing your account.

7.3 Data Deletion

Upon account deletion or at your request, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within the timeframes specified above, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.
